Join us for this amazing fundraising event on September 29th, 2024. Breathwork is for everyone and will improve your mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing while teaching you skills to lower stress.

Breathwork for mental health

Arrive at 8:30am for a 9am start. 
What are we doing?
Breathwork session conducted by Breathwork facilitator.
  • Ice bath.
  • Light morning tea.

Things to bring on the day:

  • yoga mat
  • towel
  • hat & sunscreen
  • swimmers
  • eye mask and pillow (optional)

Why September?

September is suicide prevention month. Breathwork ties in with helping you manage your stress and emotions.

Why Breathwork & ice baths?

Scientific studies have shown that controlling your breath can help to manage stress and stress-related conditions. (BetterHealth, 2015).

Research shows that cold water immersion (CWI) may improve mental health by increasing endorphin ( the feel good hormone) and norepinephrine levels. (Stanford, longevity, 2024)

CWI may also improve resilience to stress by decreasing cortisol levels. (Stanford, longevity, 2024)
